I just want to thank you all for such a wonderful welcome and a great day at Murphy Middle School last week. I so enjoyed finally getting to meet you, and you made me feel right at home. Thanks for your great questions and participation as well. You are great students and I'm so glad to feel like I know you all better!
I am now sitting in the Airport in Charlotte getting ready to leave for South America. I am going to travel with a friend to Colombia, Ecuador, and Argentina and will be back in Santiago at the end of March. I will keep you updated on my travels!

Tyler is wondering about entertainment opportunities in Ecuador and Colombia, as well as in Chile: Do they have bowling alleys, skating rinks and arcades?
Jonathan wants to know about the food in Ecuador and Colombia. Do they have particular foods that are different than in Chile?
Kayla wants to know if your neighborhood looks different after the earthquake. Can you see any damage in your area?
Jessica: Was the Carnaval celebration in Colombia like any you have seen before in the US?
Michael is interested in your beach pictures. Why were there so few people enjoying the beach?
Kevin wants to know what kind of transportation most people use to get around in Ecuador.
